Documentary films are a mirror of society. Documentary films are rarely seen in cinemas, they get lost easily on streaming platforms, but they are an important part of the filmmaking process. A special project — Unknown uа.doс — is a selection of well-known Ukrainian documentary works among professionals, which are unfairly little known to a wide range of viewers, especially outside of Ukraine. The Unknown uа.doс project is an attempt to open up unexplored territory for European viewers, which says a lot about Ukraine and how it lives today.
